Title: Saudade

A collection of fictional short stories that evoke Saudade: a feeling of longing for things absent from the concrete to the mysterious.

Saudade: This Portuguese word doesn't translate easily to other languages; it has deep cultural roots and meaning among the Portuguese people. The closest definition in English is: A feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia. Wishes, hopes, and prayers.
